Hello I like your arrangements and would like to purchase some scores from your latest CD. We Play Bb Flutes and I am looking for trio's but if they are written for 4 flutes, that will be fine.
We have a concert in October and I would like to introduce some new tunes to the rest of the Corps before then. Please let me know if I can urchase them from you.

Many Thanks
Stuart Boyd

Hi there, I am a director of music for a melody flute band in N Ireland. We use Bb 5 key flutes playing 3 parts and 1 Piccolo. I have listened to your music with great interest and would ultimately like to introduce some of this into our current music vocabulary. Although mainly a marching band we play a lot of Sousa marches but I would really like to play some of your finer stuff for our indoor concerts and competitions. If you could respond to me I would be obliged.

Regards,

Nigel.

Dear MCV,

We just finished watching your performance in the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, and we loved it! What a treat to see such a talented group representing America at this year's tattoo. We wish we could have been there in person.

This summer we will be visiting Boston to learn more about the founding of America and are thrilled to see that you will be performing at Harborfest. We can't wait to see you there.

Great performance. As a founding member of The Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps, I'm very glad to see the fife and drum spirit of New England continuing strongly today. All the best, Pete McDermott (Bass Drummer, 1960-1962)

Just a short note to convey to you just how much my wife and I enjoyed the fabulous entertainment put forward by your company which we watched on television this week here in Manchester, England.
What a fine body of excellent musicians and performers who's drill, smartness of dress and marching prowess does the American Nation proud! What did stand out was, that they seemed to be enjoying themselves also.
I have taped the performance from the Edinburgh Military Tattoo and already, I have copied it for friends who missed it. I expect I will wear out my copy in no time.
We have been fortunate enough to have visited the States a number of times over the years including Boston where one might expect to see this type of reenactment,(I hope that is an acceptable phrase),but not been lucky enough to see it.
We do hope we will witness The Middlesex County Volunteers another time but until then, a thousand thanks for one of the most enjoyable evenings.

Continue to show the world that no one can do this better than the Americans.

Kind regards,

Mary and John Cooper

Your organization looked great at the annual 4th of July celebration in Boston. My regards to all especially those long time members that date back to your partnership with the Massachusetts Army National Guard. I suspect there are a few "Old-Timers" left!! Job well done.

I just read the on-line edition of the newsletter. I am so envious of MCV. I wish you all the luck and good fortune in the world. Heck, if I lived in Massachusetts, I think I'd move heaven and earth to learn to play fife well enough to play with such a fine corps.

I am from Northern Ireland and recently got your cd, what can i say other than excellent.
i have noticed that the style you play is somwhat different to what i have heard before on other sound tracks from cds and indeed sounds more like a flute rather than fife, is this the case it sounds much better.
on Behalf of the Ulster Grenadiers Flute band may i wish MCV all the best in the future and feel free to visit our site @ www.ulstergrenadiers.co.uk or you can join our online discussion forum @ http://makephpbb.com/phpbb/index.php?mforum=grenadiersfb

Is MCV going to play at the 225th Anniversary of the Siege of Yorktown, Oct. 19-22-06? I noticed that on the participants schedule... there are going to be many fife and drum regiments performing. Are you part of the Lexington Training Band? Hope to see and hear MCV at Yorktown... as we missed you at Colonial Williamsburg last Dec. Take a look at the Yorktown site. Many Massachusetts regiments coming. The National Park Service is going to let us all play on the Battle Fields!
