MCV recently returned from our first appearance at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo.  Only a handful of American groups have appeared at this most prestigious international tattoo during its fifty-seven year history, and never has there been a fife and drum ensemble.  MCV is proud to have been able to represent the United States and this genre of music at the Tattoo, and in the year of MCV’s 25th anniversary. MCV resided in Edinburgh for the duration of the Tattoo, from 30 July through 26 August 2007, and appeared at each of the 24 performances, before a total of 217,000 spectators and over 100 million international television viewers.  MCV’s appearance depended on numerous rehearsals, careful planning, commitment from the members – and support from friends of MCV. We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all of our friends who so generously supported the ensemble this year; you have helped make this trip a reality! Below you will find a small Photo Gallery of MCV's Tattoo experience; an expanded edition is also available from our Photo Album. Enjoy!
