MCV has accepted an invitation to perform at the 2012 edition of the Basel Tattoo, held in Basel, Switzerland. This will mark MCV's return to the Tattoo, having performed there last in 2005 when the show was known as the Yshalle Tattoo and was held indoors. The Basel Tattoo now is held in front of the historic Kaserne (former military barracks) and is second only to the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in size and popularity. The Basel Tattoo will be held from July 13 - 21, 2012 before an estimated audience of 9,000 per show.

 

 

 

2012 will also mark MCV's 30th Anniversary. Details on special events to mark this occasion will be available in the Spring.

We launched our "MCV On the Road to Basel" blog on January 13th: 6 months before Opening Night; this will chronicle MCV's preparations for the Tattoo as well as frequent live reports from Basel in July.
